Dear Subrata,

Good to hear from you. You can certainly publish your paper in TRIZ India, but since this is a community site, you publish your paper as your own entry. I would also encourage you to submit your paper to TRIZ Journal (www.triz-journal.com) for a wider international audience.

There are several companies selling TRIZ Software. Invention Machine Goldfire is the famous one in this category. You can reach them through their website and authorised resellers. Other software includes from Systematic Innovation (www.systematic-innovation.com), Ideation Interational (www.ideationtriz.com) and few from Europe. You can get a complete list of software from triz-journal.com site.

Feel free to post your questions on TRIZ and systematic innovation here to get answered.

More than a single software tool like say Goldfire it is better to start with freely available tools including public patent search, ARIZ 85C manuals, print outs of contradiction matrix and work with them hands on. TRIZ_Journal has some great resources on these.
2 reasons why I suggest this method 1. license costs are way too high and 2. you actually figure how the techniques work way better than from a software.

SouthBeach Notation is a modelling tool making use Su-Field and other TRIZ concepts.

Hi Subrata,

TRIZ India Summit held in July 2010 had very nice set of papers submitted through call for papers - selected and presented by various authors. These papers also were included in US TRIZCON proceedings through Crafitti's strategic partnership with AITRIZ (aitriz.org).

The papers can now be downloaded from the TRIZ India Summit Website that will become a regular website for TRIZ India summit that is an annual event started this year. You can prepare for the TRIZ India Summit papers for the next year summit.

Besides triz-journal as mentioned by others you can also contribute your papers/articles directly to Altshuller institute (www.aitriz.org) and also another interesting online place for TRIZ papers at http://www3.sympatico.ca/karasik/

Coming to second part of the question - about software for TRIZ - my personal experiences of using and developing these so called TRIZ software packages - I think they aid may be to a small extent - say in documenting the process steps of going through the tools. Just like TRIZ itself will not solve any problem for you, so will these software packages as well.

However, mining the patent databases for TRIZ projects (which is the key to any useful TRIZ application in technology or engineering) you may need some capability to perform a function based patent search.
