For those who seriously think HOW to innovate

A snapshot taken from UCLH (uclh.nhs.uk). This is an intriguing questioning tool. All one has to do is follow the questions and the pictures help you with visualizing what we are doing.

Now I was thinking about how we can apply this to other tools

Reversal of assumptions (RoA being my favourite, I always start with this one)
1. What are the assumptions about your product/service/problem?
2. Who's assumptions are those?
3. What do you get when you reverse each of the assumptions?
4. what are the constraints?

Problem Explorer (I call it PROBlem Explorer or PROBE) actually operates on this principle
1. Who has a problem?
2. What is the IFR?
3. What's stopping us from getting to the IFR? What else?
4. Why are we trying to get to the IFR? Why else?

Hello, Bala,
Very interresting methodology.
But, can you tell me more about Reversal of assumption?
And in a case study, can you show me your answers, and how and when the new concept appears?
